Atonement: at-one-ment
To be at one with the supreme deity; when a person truly repents of their wrong-doings, injustice to others, dishonesty, etc. and vows to be a better person, to right wrongs where possible and to do good deeds they draw closer to Spirit. By adopting right thought, right action and right speech they become a better person and therefore more acceptable to their fellow humans and also to Spirit. They reap the rewards of greater spiritual awareness and acceptance and in return become more acceptable.
The Holy Spirit flows through and over them once again, their Spirit rejoices and they become whole in body, mind and spirit for the greater good of humankind.

Saint Andrew is the patron saint of Scotland and today is celebrated there as Saint Andrew's Day. As a former resident and lover of the land of Scotland I could not let the day go by without recognising it.
